Beliefs about one’s abilities are rarely tested – unless you happen to be a UFC fighter by Paddy Pimblett successor.
Pimblett actually challenged the internet troll who barked at him to a fight on social media. He offered the man 500 pounds, i.e. about 560 euros, if he could survive the match without giving up.
– This guy has been talking shit in my publications for the last couple of weeks, the British star says in the video.
To the UFC star’s surprise, the man accepted the offer and arrived at Pimblett’s training hall to show his talent.
Before the two even jumped into the ring, the troll confessed to lying about his combat sports background. He said that he practiced a little years ago, but that was the experience.
– I have watched a couple of YouTube videos, the man grinned.
After the match started, the level difference was completely clear. Pimblett played at the internet troll’s expense, letting him try different punches and kicks. The visitor’s friends cheered excitedly in the background.
However, when Pimblett increased the gas a little, the opponent was immediately rattled. It didn’t take much effort for him to sit on the side of the ring and give up the match.
Pimblett ended up giving the man credit for showing up and not just hiding behind his keyboard on social media. The UFC fighter decided to give the man 50 pounds, even though he had to give up the fight.
