Joaquin Sanchez has become the revelation face of Antenna 3. The footballer sweeps every Wednesday at the head of ‘Joaquin, the rookie’which last night had Paul Motorcycles as protagonist. On the show, which was followed by 2.6 million viewers, the two chatted about their respective professions and the possibility of retiring.
“Would there be something for which you would leave television?” Asked the soccer player to the host of ‘The anthill’who acknowledged that it is “very difficult” for him to think at that moment: “When do you say that ‘this far’ has your dream come? It is the dream of my life”. “I’ve had ten years of my life to retire, imagine,” said Joaquín with a laugh.
“Sure, you’re like me. At what point do you turn around to never go to the field again?” asked Motos, who judging by his words, for now has no intention of leaving television: “There are a moment in which you say: ‘Is it done? I have fulfilled all this effort, the dream of my life? And what tomorrow?’ Everything ends and something unknown begins. The vertigo, the fear, makes you delay that moment as long as you can“.

A reflection with which Joaquín himself felt identified: “I already have the body done so I’m going to retire, but I think that moment is screwed up”. “I’ve seen it with my former teammates, realize that it’s the only thing we’ve done. I haven’t done anything but train, concentrate and play,” she admitted.
“I’m lucky to be able to do a thousand things, but that’s over”, recognized Joaquín about his future retirement from football. In this sense, he joked about his new project on Antena 3: “That’s why I’m with ‘El novato’, looking for a profession.”
