The organization of Paaspop looks back on a very successful edition. The kick-off of the festival season was completely sold out with 35,000 visitors per day. With that, the start-up problems of Thursday seem to be quickly forgotten.
With 105,000 visitors in three days, the organization speaks of an ‘overwhelming edition’. In addition, there were more than three hundred acts on the various stages. After a rainy week, the weather was also good last weekend. On a sun-drenched site, visitors enjoyed each other and the music.
Issues
That was different on Thursday evening when the rain caused major parking problems. Many cars were stuck in the mud for hours and had to be pulled out of the wet grassland with a tractor. That caused long traffic jams, so that some visitors even turned around and went home.
However, that should not spoil the fun this weekend according to the organization. There was a nice atmosphere at the festival.
