Ozzy Osbourne has announced that he has had to completely cancel his No More Tours 2 tour. It had already been announced as a farewell tour in 2017. For health reasons and due to the Covid-19 pandemic, however, parts had to be postponed or canceled completely. In 2018 there were at least a few shows in Europe, the USA and South America. An extensive tour of Europe and Great Britain was scheduled for 2023. Including five appearances in Germany – in Dortmund, Munich, Hamburg, Mannheim and Berlin.

The 74-year-old announced the cancellation of all appointments via Instagram. He cited his health as the reason. A serious injury to his spine in February 2019 has massively impaired his physical condition over the past four years, despite various operations, stem cell therapy and new types of treatment.

“That’s probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to convey to my loyal fans. https://www.rollingstone.de/{…]Honestly, I’m in awe of how you all waited so patiently and kept your tickets for so long. However, I’ve now realized that I’m not physically fit enough to play my upcoming European/UK tour. The travel workload would be too much for me. Believe me, the thought of disappointing you, my fans, makes me sick. Worse than you can imagine. I never imagined my days of touring would end like this.”

His voice, however, he says, is as good as ever. In addition, his team would work on ways to make live performances possible without traveling. So there may be digital concerts in the room. He leaves the live business with thanks to his fans, family, friends and Judas Priest who should have supported the tour. Osbourne released his latest album Patient Number 9 in September last year.
