Özcan Akyol calls on ‘pathetic’ Bram Moszkowicz: ‘Stay at home!’

Özcan Akyol is not impressed by Bram Moszkowicz’s sneer. He again calls on the fallen criminal lawyer to stay at home when it comes to Lil Kleine in Shownieuws.

Show news seems to have turned it into a kind of sport to make itself completely ridiculous. The news about the very violent rapper Lil Kleine is continuously commented on by Bram Moszkowicz, whose family has very large financial interests in the 27-year-old artist. These dual interests are almost never mentioned.

Emotional Bram

Bram regularly goes completely crazy at Shownieuws when his colleagues criticize the manager and lawyer of Lil Kleine, because they are his son Nathan Moszkowicz and his girlfriend Nienke Hoogervorst respectively. He became very emotional in Shownieuws the day before yesterday when Nienke was criticized.

A day later, yesterday, Bram was again at the desk when it was about Lil Kleine. “Yes, yesterday, of course, the judge decided that he had to go back to jail for fourteen days,” said Weekend boss Bart Ettekoven. Bram then provoked: “Of course? Did you say ‘of course’?” Bart: “I said ‘of course’ yes.”

‘Did come in’

A few weeks ago, the men of VI Today, led by Özcan Akyol, expressed very strong criticism of Bram and his double hats. They called him ‘so sad’ and that hit the fallen criminal lawyer very hard. Bram reacted furiously in Shownieuws: he shouted that Johan is senile and Özcan is unintelligible.

What does Özcan think about that? He reacted cynically last night in VI Today: “Johan and I were dealt with harshly. It did come in, did you sleep that night? No me neither. I did think about what was said there about us. Yes, I have become humbled after that swipe from him.”

Angry and emotional

Özcan advises colleague Johan Derksen to ring the bell with channel owner John de Mol. “Johan, you are a creative advisor to John de Mol, right? This program is one of his showpieces.”

Johan: “Well, I don’t know. Look, (…) that man has of course fallen off his pedestal. That was a proud lawyer who did big business and who now has to survive and gets into crap programs where he hands in a bill. But he has the problem that if he is confronted with something involving his son or his girlfriend, he immediately becomes angry and emotional.”

Pick on Bram

Özcan: “And if we find that he was once that great celebrated lawyer and now… This is just pathetic in all objectivity, isn’t it? Can we say that? Then we don’t have a crush on him, do we? I think everyone will like that.”

Johan: “I think he is a very nice man. I think he’s a great guy otherwise, but when it comes to his son or his girlfriend, he immediately sits down, nobody can say anything and then he comes. However he has reacted to us… Then I think: what is it about?”

‘Stay at home!’

Özcan thinks that Bram should cancel his performance in Shownieuws if it is about Lil Kleine in the evening. “You can also say, ‘Guys, you’re going to talk about Little Kleine tonight, my girlfriend is a lawyer, I’m not coming tonight.’ That’s very easy, isn’t it?”

Johan: “Yes, but I think he just needs every evening to send a bill. I don’t think he has any other income.”

René van der Gijp: “Johan is right: he needs that income. He doesn’t do anything else of course. He sits there.”
