Claudio Ranieri was dismissed from the English Premier League team Watford, where national football player Ozan Tufan played.
The Italian manager, who took over Watford on 4 October, was sacked after the team won only 2 wins in 13 league matches and an English FA Cup match.
In the statement made by the club, 70-year-old Ranieri was thanked for his efforts.
Ranieri, who has coached important European clubs such as Chelsea, Juventus, Inter, Roma, Napoli, Atletico Madrid, Valencia and Monaco in his career, achieved a historical success by carrying Leicester City to the Premier League championship in the 2015-16 season.
Watford, who is three games short, is in the 19th place with 14 points after the 23rd week of the Premier League.
