Beating
AZ were beaten by PSV last Sunday and lost no less than 4-0 at home. “A huge downer and a deserved defeat. We have picked up the pieces. We have to prepare for the last match of the calendar year. We have to forget about Sunday’s match and now we focus on the cup match.”
“A huge downer and a justified defeat. We have picked up the pieces”
De Wit or Djordje Mihailovic?
In recent weeks, Dani de Wit has regularly been on the bench and Djordje Mihailovic has started. Jansen does not want to say who will be preferred tomorrow. “That will become apparent. We obviously have our ideas about that.”
Covers up for 6 to 8 weeks
On Sunday, Hobie Verhulst injured his knee. The goalkeeper is expected to be out for six to eight weeks. Jansen will now consult with director of technical affairs Max Huiberts about possibly recruiting a goalkeeper.
David Møller Wolfe also did not emerge unscathed from the match against PSV. He is a doubt for the cup match. The match against HHC Hardenberg comes too early for Sven Mijnans, Mayckel Lahdo and Mees de Wit.
