Verkaik already had that permit before, but due to legal errors on the part of the municipality, the entire procedure had to be gone through again. “The municipality has now done it very carefully,” says Verkaik. “I can continue at my own risk. There may be objections to the plans, but I honestly do not assume that. If there are people who expect nuisance, then they should raise it with the court.”
