It cannot but cause some friction in the Borsato family: Daisy Piras, Marco Borsato’s daughter-in-law, is a guest in Gossip Talk this week. “Why is she doing this?!”
Marco Borsato will hate few media as much as Gossip Talk. Last year, that program was the first to report on his alleged cross-border behaviour. The singer must therefore be quite surprised that Daisy Piras, his own daughter-in-law, is a guest in the show section this week by telephone.
Daisy and Dennis
Presenter Dennis Schouten has been in contact with Daisy since last week, because she was screwed by one of her friends. That girlfriend in question has approached Dennis with sensitive information about the Borsatos, including about an alleged addiction of Leontine Borsato, and he brought this in last week’s broadcast.
Daisy has publicly expressed her anger about this friend. Behind the scenes, she then angrily called her and she recorded that eight-minute conversation and – for reasons unknown – forwarded it in full to Dennis. He plays a fragment of it in the latest episode of Gossip Talk†
She goes completely crazy: “Is it up to you to leak my shit to gossip? Is that why you are my girlfriend?”
Leontine on coke?
Dennis then calls Daisy live in the studio, she accepts and she is aware that she is on the broadcast. He first asks if she is still in contact with the girlfriend in question. “Well, I haven’t actually spoken to her. That’s the only conversation we’ve had. I did get a ticket saying ‘sorry’, but that was it.”
Then he asks her in the context of adversarial procedure whether the claim is correct that Leontine is on cocaine. “No, of course not, boy,” she says. And then: “It’s her business anyway, if it were!”
rotten family
Is she still crazy about her boyfriend Luca Borsato, even though his last name is quite tainted? “It’s still the same cute boy.”
Co-host Jan Roos: “Yes, only from a bit of a rotten family.”
Daisy: “No, they are very, very nice people.”
Dennis mean: “Also for children!”
At the end of the conversation Daisy pretends she doesn’t want any attention at all: “Okay guys, good luck with your show. I distance myself from everything else.”
Dennis: “Yes, that’s handy after you’ve called us for five minutes. haha! Bye, greetings to your father-in-law!”

Even the Gossip presentation duo can’t believe that a member of the Borsato family still wants to talk to them. Jan: “What I don’t quite understand, huh, is why that girl is doing this.”
Dennis: “Will Marco be happy with this?”
John: “I don’t think so. And neither does Luke. We have reached a peak in Dutch journalism. We got someone from the Borsato family to talk and it wasn’t all that intense, but we did have it.”
In the studio
Daisy says on Instagram that she even considered coming to the studio of Gossip Talk. “I was invited to be at the filming to tell my story and I really thought about it,” she says. “I can’t stand injustice so much that I would prefer to sit there and open my mouth and play my recordings.”
She didn’t do it anyway. “Honestly, they don’t invite me to tell my story, they would just ask more stupid questions about my in-laws and cunt, so better focus on other things.”
Luca responds
Despite Daisy’s flirtation with Gossip Talk, Luca is not tired of her yet. He posted the following Insta post after the publication of the latest Gossip Talk:
