The ceasefire in the northern Ukrainian city of Sumy is largely being respected, according to the local governor. As a result, 3,500 civilians have now been evacuated via a so-called humanitarian corridor. Russia has also promised such safe passages in other places, but fleeing civilians are said to have been shot at by the Russians on various escape routes.
