The number of coronavirus infections continues to rise rapidly. Between 3 and 9 January, there were an average of 22,189 infections in our country every day. That is an increase of 88 percent tons compared to the seven days before. Hospital admissions are also rising, but less sharply (+7 percent). This is apparent from preliminary figures from health institute Sciensano.
