Over 100,000 fans want to go to the Europa League final

Eintracht Frankfurt football fans are very interested in Europa League final tickets in Seville.

With a view to the game against Glasgow Rangers on May 18, the Hessians said they had received “well over 100,000 requests” and thus more than ten times the actual contingent of 10,000 tickets.

“We expected a very large wave of inquiries, but this interest within 48 hours is simply gigantic and has far exceeded our expectations,” said CEO Axel Hellmann.

We know that there will be many disappointed, he admitted. “I assure you that we will try to get every ticket that we get through official channels so that as many fans as possible can be there in Seville,” promised Hellmann.

The Hessians expect that their own stadium will also be sold out during public viewing. Even for this event, where the game cannot be followed live on site, trading on the black market has already picked up speed.

The tickets that were officially sold for 10 euros were already being offered on the secondary market for over 100 euros.
