The Cool Quest visits Groningen
With more than five hundred shows, a lot of airplay and several awards The Cool Quest already has quite a few things to their name. With their new single PARTY ON THE BLOC which came out in September last year, they could be heard on NPO 3fm, Radio 1 and Radio 10. In their music you can hear influences from hip hop to indie and alternative pop, together with a genre-transcending sound and recognizable vocals full of soul. In addition to their well-deserved stripes in the Netherlands, the band has also toured throughout Europe. The Cool Quest was also the house band of NOS Studio Peking during the Winter Olympics. After two years without tours, the band is now touring the Netherlands again.
They only visit four cities, including Groningen. On Friday they will bring their sound to Simplon in a brand new show. Support is provided by Rommy Gabay, who has a lively sound of pop and hip-hop with her soulful voice. Her music highlights all the contradictions of life, which offers a nice contrast between a groovy sound and honest lyrics.

Classic cars, motorcycles and mopeds
From Friday to Sunday another Oldtimer & Classic Fair will be held in Sportcentrum Leek. You will see two halls filled with classic cars, both cars and motorcycles and mopeds of 25 years and older from private collections and from clubs. There are also various sales stands, where parts, documentation, miniatures, tools and many other things can be found.
In a separate hall reserved for clubs, special copies of various brands are displayed, such as the Boigward Club, Historic Automobile Association, Caravan Club and the Veterans Oldtimer Club Roadstar. See oldtimerleek.nl for the entire program.

A musical journey along the Hunebed Highway
Departing Friday from eatery Groothuis in the center of Emmen during BusPop six American school buses that transport music lovers to three different outer villages. Bands Them Dirty Dimes, Leon Moorman, Greymen play at De Linde in Sleen, Postkantoor in Nieuw Amsterdam and Melody in Barger Oosterveld.
The buses end at Cafe Groothuis where At your Service ends the evening. BusPoP Emmen is a music event for the true lover of live music and originated from a passion for organizing music events. More information can be found on buspopemmen.nl.

Characters and cabaret by Annick Boer
Annick Boer gained fame among the general public with her many types in tacks , kanniewareness and the TV Canteen . Classics are her imitations of Eva Jinek, Anouk, Tjitske Reading, Floor Janssen, Dolly Parton, Erica Meiland, Mariska Bauer and Chantal from Married at First Sight .
The comedienne and actress has been on stage in various plays and musicals for 28 years. Her first performance That worked out well! will be continued with This one is even better! in which she once again collaborates with Jean Louis van Dam, who provides the music. Friday Annick Boer will be in Delfzijl with her show.

An evening with Ronald Snijders
Ronald Snijders is already ready for his fifth cabaret show in more than ten years. In the previous editions he made a big party of it. And because it is simply difficult for a person to change, that is in An evening with me not much else. Snijders returns to how it all began: with humanity, with language and with his arrival at the theatre.
His show features swinging discourses, impressive slips of the tongue, short songs, normal humor, new PIN codes and of course an exclusive interview with the very first human being on earth. Welcome to the tilted universe of Ronald Snijders.
