The Italian premium brand for sportswear, CP Company, and the young British streetwear brand Palace have started an exclusive cooperation. The aim is to “combine CP Company’s premium sportswear heritage with British youth culture,” according to a press release.
Originating from the skate culture of London’s South Bank district, a hotspot of London’s cultural scene on the south bank of the Thames, Palace’s specialty is mixing vintage and contemporary influences in the collections. With the new capsule collection, Palace reinterprets CP Company’s technical skills, particularly those of garment dyeing.
From the vast CP Company archive, Palace selected a few key pieces like the duffle coat and lambswool sweater, adding Palace essentials like the bomber jacket and jogging pants, as well as a vibrant color palette. The outerwear and accessories are partly made of piece-dyed technical fabrics, reflecting the most modern part of the collection.
The collection will be sold in the online shops of both brands and in the flagship stores worldwide.
