‘Truly no bottlenecks between the central government and the provinces’
The Hague – Nitrogen minister Christianne van der Wal ‘sincerely sees no bottlenecks’ between the central government and the provinces in the new nitrogen approach. That is what the VVD minister said after hours of crisis consultations with the twelve provincial governments. She does think that the ‘awareness’ of her party members in the provinces has yet to sink in that “nitrogen emissions must first be reduced before new permits can be issued.”
