“If you see tears: they are tears of happiness and gratitude.” In Zeeland, the Netherlands, Suzan & Freek gave their first concert tonight since the cancer diagnosis. Our reporter went to look, and saw kisses, hugs, hands on a pregnant belly, damp corners of the eyes and in the audience: goosebumps to the rear row. “Only the sight of Freek on that very big stage: you could only be a week.”
