The VRT has decided to no longer broadcast 16 episodes of ‘FC De Kampioenen’ because certain jokes can come across inappropriate in the current zeitgeist. That’s not new. As early as 2020, it became known that the public broadcaster had assembled a team to screen episodes about which there are complaints for sensitive content. Then there were two episodes of ‘FC De Kampioenen’, which were considered to be no longer acceptable. So today the counter is already at sixteen.
