Our Legacy hits the slopes.
The Stockholm fashion brand has teamed up with fellow Swedish snowboard maker Tur to create a snowboard, Our Legacy announced last week. The ‘Bubo’ model features graphics by the Brazilian-Swedish artist Hank Grüner, who has been responsible for the illustrations featured in Our Legacy collections for years.
The snowboard is characterized by a shortened look for more dynamism as well as a larger overall width, which is said to be suitable for different snow conditions. The shape of the board was inspired by the beginner-friendly ‘Mini-Mal’ surfboards, according to the release. With a wood core rounded off with veneer, Our Legacy promises longer durability for the snowboard.
Our Legacy is once again focusing on collaborations this year. A capsule was released in spring together with the US streetwear label Denim Tears, which was sent to the New Yorker Rapper Tupac remembers. One followed in the fall Collection for cat lovers with Emporio Armani, a line from the Italian fashion house Giorgio Armani.
The collection is available at Our Legacy and Tur online shops, as well as the ‘Our Legacy Work Shop’ store in Stockholm.
