Our gold Emma loves national coaches

Three races, three victories, more is not possible! Track bike sprinter Emma Hinze (24) is the gold queen at the European Championships in Munich.

Successes: Hinze won silver in the team sprint with Lea Sophie Friedrich (22) a year ago at the Olympics in Tokyo. But off the big stage things are going better. Three times world champion in 2020, twice in 2021.

In addition, the three European Championship titles and eight times German Champion. Well on the way to replacing double Olympic champion Kristina Vogel (31) as record world champion. The woman from Erfurt, who was paralyzed after an accident, has eleven titles.

Money: Hinze gets her pay as a corporal in the Bundeswehr (around 2,000 euros). In addition, 800 euros in elite funding from Sporthilfe and the reduced principle, since she is in the Bundeswehr.

And: prize money like the 25,000 euros for the Champions League victory. Most of it comes from sponsors (Tissot, bike accessories company Paul Lange, among others), so that the native of Hildesheim earns just under 100,000 euros a year.

Love: Hinze is in a relationship with the Berlin sprint junior national coach Maximilian Levy (35). Both live together in Cottbus, where Hinze trains. You to BILD: “I feel very comfortable with him. He says he totally recognizes himself in me. He gives me a lot of energy and catches me when things go badly.”

Celebrity Status: 33,000 followers on Instagram are still expandable. The big explosion could come with Olympic gold in Paris in 2024.
