Oudenburg holds plebiscite on redevelopment of the center

Stijn Jonckheere, Alderman for Spatial Planning Oudenburg: “We have now been preparing a master plan for the center of Oudenburg for a good year. We also had several participation moments. We are actually determining a vision for the entire center with all urban facilities such as well-being, culture and others, which are within walking distance of each other. One of the proposals is the extension of the city park to the city hall.”

The result of the referendum is binding. The city can therefore no longer decide otherwise. If the large master plan is not approved, it will be adjusted.
