Actor Ottfried Fischer (68) paid his wife a special compliment.
“My wife is unique in the existence of such difficult times. She’s my best friend, she has so many good sides that I wouldn’t know what to do without her,” Fischer told the Berliner Morgenpost (Sunday). “One of my biggest fears is that she might not be there anymore. She has gathered up many treasures in heaven, as we Catholics so faithfully say.”
A few years ago, Ottfried Fischer made Parkinson’s disease public – he now talks about it in the series “Lebenslinien” on Bavarian Radio.
In June 2020 he had married his partner Simone in a civil ceremony. The church wedding had been postponed because of the pandemic.
