Otte eliminated in Stuttgart in the first round

Tennis pro Oscar Otte started the grass season with a damper. As at the French Open, the 29-year-old also suffered a first-round defeat at the ATP tournament in Stuttgart. Otte, who had a wildcard, lost to Frenchman Gregoire Barrere 4: 6, 3: 6. Last year, the man from Cologne reached the semi-finals.

Jan-Lennard Struff and Daniel Altmaier are still fighting for a place in the round of 16 on Tuesday.

Olympic champion Alexander Zverev canceled his start in Stuttgart after losing the semifinals in Roland Garros due to a slight thigh injury.
