Messer celebrates the people behind the 125-year success story

Bad Soden (ots) – Messer, the world’s largest private industrial gases specialist,
emerged from a small workshop – a rare one in Germany
Success story that has become: In 1898, Adolf Messer founded a small company in Höchst
Plant for acetylene generators, in which the fuel gas acetylene is made from carbide
was produced. Before Adolf Messer became a pioneer in welding and
Cutting technology, he sold acetylene lamps for the companies in the
Frankfurt area. 125 years later it is the world’s leading specialist
for industrial, medical and specialty gases in private hands, in which
founder’s grandson Stefan Messer chairs the supervisory board. His son,
Marcel Messer, manages the family-owned companies for welding
and cutting technology as well as medical technology.
Messer is celebrating its anniversary under the motto of the success story, with the
Year merged with the term: The 5 in 125 also represents the
initial letters of the motto “125uccess Story”. Follow this naming concept
