The operation took about eight hours. 44 people were checked. After verifying the identity and possibly taking fingerprints, they made 8 of the checked persons available to the Immigration Department.
The Immigration Office conducted further investigation and decided to have 3 of them transferred to a closed institution with a view to return to their country of origin.
