Ostend pays tribute to deceased fishermen

The tribute is dedicated to deceased fishermen and sailors. A floral tribute will take place near the Monument to the Seamen on the Zeedijk.

The commemoration started around 10 a.m. with a mass in the St. Peter and Paul Church. At 11 a.m. there was a procession to the Monument to the Sailors, where the flower tribute was on the program around 11:25 a.m. At 12 noon, those present were received at the town hall.
