Osprey calls on its community to actively shape the Green Friday nature conservation initiatives

Osprey, the backpack expert, is pleased to present its community-focused Green Friday project. During this year’s Black Friday weekend, Osprey is once again launching a fundraising campaign to support the European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA). The novelty of this year? Osprey leaves it up to its loyal customers to decide which conservation projects to support.

Osprey’s Green Friday initiative takes place from November 23rd to 28th. During this promotional period, Osprey is giving its customers a 20% discount on selected products – an ideal opportunity to equip yourself for your next outdoor tour. Additionally, Osprey is committed to donating a whopping 20% of the proceeds from each sale to EOCA to support their valuable conservation work.

What makes this year’s Green Friday really special is the opportunity for customers to actively determine which conservation projects receive support. By participating in the vote, customers can choose a project that is close to their hearts, so that support also reflects the values and interests of the Osprey community.

In order to receive more information and participate in the vote, customers must be subscribed to the Osprey newsletter. Voting instructions will be emailed to Osprey subscribers in November. Anyone interested can sign up for the newsletter at any time on the Osprey website.

The projects that receive the most votes will be selected for this year’s Green Friday campaign. Since the vote is time-limited, quick action is required: it ends on November 17th at midnight. There is therefore only a short window of time to have a lasting influence on nature conservation work.

“Last year, our Green Friday campaign significantly contributed over 23,000 euros to the work of EOCA and its global conservation initiatives,” explains Jérôme Boillat, Vice President of Marketing for EMEA at Helen of Troy.

We believe in the power of our community to create positive change. Our Green Friday promotion is not just about discounts and offers, but is a collective effort to support environmental projects that are important to our customers.
