Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu handed over the task of Minister of Youth and Sports to Osman Askin Bak. In his statement, Kasapoğlu said, “We, as a cadre, broke the rules under the leadership of our leader and we will continue to break them.”
Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu said the following at the handover ceremony:
We are all players of the same team together. Today we will change positions. Our esteemed Minister Osman Aşkın Bak, with his beautiful heart and equipment, and we, as his brother and companion, will continue to carry our faith and motivation at the highest level. We did not distinguish any region of our country from the other at the point of establishment. We did not distinguish any of the 85 million from each other. As a cadre, under the leadership of our leader, we broke the rules and we will continue to do so.

Thank you my dear minister. He gave a very good speech. I had the same speech 5 years ago. We consulted with him frequently on new projects. They did good work. Under the leadership of our President, Turkey has become one of the leading countries in the world both in terms of sports and facilities.
Congratulations to my Minister for the Olympics. You raised the bar. You steered these things very well. Good work has been done in 5 years. Our President is a leader who knows sports very well. It gives us direction strategically. I express my gratitude to him. There are some very good things he taught us. I saw what a strong and charismatic leader he was at the NATO summits in Brussels. We had a difficult and intense process in the elections, but the Turkish Century is starting.
I wish success to my friends in the new cabinet. I would like to thank my colleagues who have taken over the task. The 2024 Paris Olympics are coming soon. It’s a little over a year away. We will concentrate there.
