The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) evacuated most of the staff of the monitoring mission in Ukraine, the observers who remained in Donetsk and Lugansk are waiting for evacuation through Russian territory. About it says in the daily report published on the website of the organization.
“The mission has completed the evacuation of most of the members of the international mission following the decision made on February 25,” the document says.

The OSCE clarified that the monitoring teams of the mission in Kharkiv and Kherson do not leave their shelters due to hostilities, they are evacuated from the country at a safe time for this. The head of the mission, Yashar Halit Chevik, remains in Kyiv to oversee the evacuation of the remaining personnel, the organization said.
The OSCE Mission has been operating in southeastern Ukraine since 2014 and reports daily on the state of the conflict in Donbas and the number of ceasefire violations.
