Oscar and the Wolf receives gold record for World Cup song from national coach Roberto Martinez Music

MusicOscard and the Wolf has won a gold record for ‘Warrior’, the official World Cup song of the Red Devils. Singer Max Colombie received the prize from national coach Roberto Martinez and players Eden Hazard and Wout Faes.

That gold record for ‘Warrior’ means that 10,000 copies of the Oscar and the Wolf battle song have already been sold. The song is the official World Cup song of the Red Devils, and should guide our national team to victory in the coming weeks. “It was meant to be a hymn about conquering the world, but then it grew into something else,” singer Max Colombie said of his song, following in the footsteps of Rocco Granata and Stromae, among others. “Sometimes our greatest triumphs are when we overcome ourselves. This is for anyone who is fighting for something. I hope it will also fuel the fire of our Red Devils as they face a new challenge, playing the World Cup.”

Colombie received the gold record from national coach Roberto Martinez and players Eden Hazard and Tom Faes. The first one is already a fan, he said earlier. “I really fell in love with this song when I first heard it, because the music and the lyrics have something transcendent that makes us want to fight in the noble sense of the word, not just on the football field, but in life in the general.”

The 2022 World Cup will take place in Qatar and will start on November 20, 2022.
