THEL Sanremo Festival 2022 has just begun and we already know that we will also remember it for the vertiginous slit of the second dress by Ornella Muti which opposes the arduous staircase of the Ariston Theater. She, 66 years old, always girl next door, always femme fatale, moves on stage with care, very excited, and behind her her cat glasses, she smiles at everyone, with a maternal gaze.
Sympathetic and a little inhibited, the dazzling smile with 32 teeth, the hoarse voice broken by emotion and the slightly drawn-out r, she is the first co-host actress of this 72nd edition of the Festival. And the controversy over cannabis (already ridden on time by Matteo Salvini) immediately mitigates by getting lost in the maze of half a century of Italian cinema history.

At the press conference, when asked why she won’t wear Armani suits, she replies: “It’s not a rude to Armani, which I love, but I just didn’t find myself on his looks on this occasion and I chose to try something else”. This “other” is a dear homage, among other things pleasantly sustainable, of the designer Francesco Scognamiglio.
The Neapolitan stylist loved by the stars created two couture dresses for the actress, paying particular attention to the use of sustainable fabrics. G.the dresses are a dreamlike homage to Ornella Muti and they are “capable, with their sculptural lines, of celebrating a sensual charm that, even today, has no equal”. To do this, Scognamiglio used in the first creation, of nude-colored natural silk tulle, which she has embroidered in full length with Swarovski. The plus: an explosion of 3D crystals on the cups of the neckline.
For the second dressInstead, the designer chose strictly green black silk jersey, draped like a Roman peplum to build a dress that, with its deep neckline on the décolleté emphasized by the jet-embroidered neoprene bustier. The plus: the vertiginous side slit that perfectly celebrates the physicality of the actress. What to say? Wonderful.
