The club has filed the attacker’s contract. Pioli, however, will have to wait a little longer: the Belgian, fresh from an injury, will join the group in about ten days
Let’s say that there are less laborious arrivals. Origi’s at Milan, on the other hand, was quite complicated. Not in terms of the operation itself (indeed, the deal went through without particular difficulties), but precisely on a practical level. First the injury, which postponed his landing at Milanello by a few weeks; then the turmoil over the contract renewal of Maldini and Massara, which overshadowed the day when Divock was at Casa Milan to sign his contract.

Now, finally, it’s all official. This morning that contract was deposited in the League and in the hours immediately following the Rossoneri club made official the signing of the Belgian: “AC Milan is pleased to announce that it has registered the player Divock Origi. The Belgian striker has signed a contract with the Rossoneri Club until 30 June 2026 ”, reads the company statement. Unfortunately, Pioli will have to wait a little longer: Divock has recovered from the muscle injury that had knocked him out in the last part of last season and will only start working in a group in about ten days.
