Stplendid and indefatigable, a 80 years old made just today, Orietta Berti is back on the music scene with a new single, Differentit’s a video clips special filmed together with some members of the LGBTQ+ community of the Milanese cooperative Casa Arcobaleno.

Already released in 2021 on the disc My life is a moviethe song – written by Enzo Campagnoli, Tano Campagnoli and Mario Guida – is the story of a mother who understands her son’s malaise in a society that, even today, judges and hurts those who don’t tie love to an archaic stereotype. This mother encourages the child to open uptrying to interact with him making him understand his vision of life.
The text underlines the importance of dialogueto overcome the fear of not being understood, and finds its maximum expression in the faces of Esse, Samantha, Vanessa, Marayah, Sergio, Giulia, Marina and Cecilia. Protagonists of the video clip – directed by Leandro Manuel Emede and Nicoló Cerioni, also the singer’s stylist – next to Orietta who, with their smiles and their looks perfectly embody the lyrics of the song.
The boys are all guests of Rainbow House, social cooperative based in Milan which for about 30 years has been committed to giving voice and answers to the needs of people in trouble who find no support in their families after coming out.
