Organization Together for the Netherlands is proved wrong by the judge: demonstration is not allowed on Dam

The demonstration of Together for the Netherlands is not allowed to take place on Dam Square next Sunday. That is the outcome of the summary proceedings that took place this afternoon.

The judge finds the mayor’s decision to move the demonstration to the Museumplein legitimate. The summary proceedings were brought by the organization of the protest.

unclear

The risk of disturbances is estimated to be higher on Dam Square by the police. This is because of the many busy shopping streets and access roads, the various tram lines, attractions, museums, shops and the associated presence of large numbers of visitors and passers-by on Dam Square. There is much more space on the Museumplein.

British conspiracy theorist David Icke was actually supposed to speak during the demonstration, but the cabinet has decided that he is not allowed to enter the Netherlands. He could alternatively be seen on a television screen, but it remains to be seen whether that will happen. Out a message from the organization The demonstration shows that the supplier has withdrawn for fear of damage.

division

Earlier today, the organization also announced that it wanted to go to Dam Square anyway. “Let’s not let the divisions that the regime is trying to create do its job. Let’s keep our unity. Together for the Netherlands. We sincerely hope to be able to greet everyone on Sunday 6 November at 12:00 on Dam Square.”

The CIDI (Centre of Information and Documentation Israel) had planned to hold a counter-demonstration, but has now canceled it. “We are aware that anti-Semitic conspiracy theories can still be interpreted at the ‘Samen voor Nederland’ demonstration, given the background of the organizers, but we are confident that the Public Prosecution Service will intervene as soon as this happens.”
