The organization of the Hondsrug Classic in Gasselte has recently been taken over by Exventure Sports & Events. Organizers Wim and Ilse Jansen of Jansen Event Sport Management are retiring. The mountain bike event will be held on October 1.
Behind the scenes, preparations have already started. Registration will open soon.
Wim Jansen wants to organize his sports and event activities differently due to other priorities, daughter Ilse has found another professional challenge.
Jansen and Alex Schuttert of Exventure have known each other for years from mountain biking. Schuttert: „When Wim asked us if we wanted to continue the Hondsrug Classic, we were immediately enthusiastic. As a participant, I have cycled this event several times and my colleague Leroy Schnieders has assisted Ilse and Wim Jansen several times in the past and therefore knows the Hondsrug Classic well. Very nice that Wim asked us for this.”
