The orca, which washed up alive on the beach of Cadzand twice on Saturday afternoon, just across the border with the Netherlands, died at 11.25 pm. SOS Dolphin reports this just before midnight. “After a short agony, she fell asleep on the beach. SOS Dolfijn is extremely grateful to all care providers. Thank you also for all the kind messages and condolences,” the organization tweeted.
