Orange tompouce in the sun? This is the weather forecast for King’s Day in Zoetermeer

Do Zoetermeer residents celebrate King’s Day in an orange shirt or do they have to buy an orange cardigan? Matthijs van der Linden, meteorologist at WeerOnline.nlgives the forecast for the king’s birthday.

In Zoetermeer we can walk dry most of the day, says Matthijs. The sun will also be visible a lot in the morning. So you can already take the sunglasses with you when you go to the flea market.

Sweater or T-shirt

Apart from the sunglasses, the question is whether you can go outside in a sweater or T-shirt. Matthijs: “In the morning it is sunny in Zoetermeer. It is cool with a degree or 10 Celsius. In the afternoon there will be cumulus clouds and the sun will be less visible. As a result, it will not get much warmer than 10 to 12 degrees. Rain will come from the southwest in the early afternoon, but those drops will not reach Zoetermeer until the evening.” It is therefore good to take a sweater with you to the clothing market just to be on the safe side. You don’t have to worry that the rugs will blow away, because little wind is predicted. (View the program for King’s Day 2023 in Zoetermeer here).
