As often happens, someone was playing on the station piano. Until out of nowhere a woman started singing, after which several women from all corners of the station hall and beyond began to sing along in harmony. It swelled into a polyphonic Gabriellas song from the film As it is in heaven . The flash mob was organized by Soroptimist club De Reestlanden as part of Orange the World’s sixteen-day action period, stop violence against women. Member and soprano Sinje Kiel: “Music, and especially a singing voice, is a wonderful means to express, experience and feel emotion. Both came together here.”
