ROME – With a bronze medal on the last day of the European Championships in long track swimming, an excellent tournament came to an end for the Netherlands. In the final of the 4×100 meter medley, Kira Toussaint, Tes Schouten, Maaike de Waard and Marrit Steenbergen swam to third place: 3.57.01. The quartet only had to tolerate Sweden (3.55.25) and France (3.56.36).
