Orange raises more than 50,000 euros for Ukraine with auction shirts | Dutch football

It was possible to bid on 25 shirts via the matchwornshirt.com website until Monday evening. The Orange shirt that captain Virgil van Dijk wore in the match brought in the most: 7,000 euros. Frenkie de Jong’s shirt was also popular. It was sold for 5000 euros. That of Memphis Depay yielded 3900 euros. There were also two jerseys that were signed by the entire team. They were sold for 2600 and 4000 euros respectively.

In addition to the Dutch and Danish flag, the Orange football players also had the blue-yellow flag of Ukraine and the text ‘Together for Ukraine’ on their shirts. Bidding is also possible on the shirts that the football players wear during the practice match against Germany on Tuesday evening. The second auction starts on Tuesday at 8.45 pm and lasts until Saturday 3 April at 3 pm.
