Ostend announced yesterday that it and several partners are investing 134 million euros in the restoration of the iconic building on the Zeedijk in Ostend. These works must be completed in six years. Mu.ZEE would also move to the Gaandbedrijven.
But Vooruit has questions: “There has not even been a start of agreement with Flanders on the announced move of Mu.ZEE. However, that is an important part of the announced content of the Galleries. What’s more: Jambon stated last week that a move may not be practically possible.”
