The start of Telstar was flashy. Within a minute, Randy Wolters had the chance to open the score, but his attempt went half a meter wide. After that, the visitors took over the initiative. That also opened up a number of possibilities. Torino Hunte in particular did not have his sights sharp. The FC Den Bosch striker killed two chances.

Back quickly bent after rest

It was five minutes before halftime. A nice attack over the left side ended with central defender Victor van den Bogert. He completed the ball beautifully past goalkeeper Ronald Koeman Jr., who was on the wrong foot.

FC Den Bosch’s dominance lasted in the second half. Kevin Felida, for example, had the 0-2 on his shoe soon after the break, but Koeman jr. tapped the ball nicely out of the intersection. That helped Telstar a bit in the saddle, because within the hour it was equal. Cas Dijkstra had a good action and kept the overview. It was then a breeze for captain Glynor Plet to make it 1-1.

Gyliano van Velzen then had the perfect opportunity to put the 2-1 on the scoreboard, but one on one with keeper Wouter van der Steen shot the attacker wide. A minute later it was on the other side for FC Den Bosch. A bang from Sebastiaan van Bakel went in via Soufyan Ahannach.

Substitutes Jay Kruiver and Delvechio Blackson had the equalizer in the final phase, but the great opportunities were not for them. Telstar therefore remains in seventeenth place in the first division. The difference with number thirteen FC Den Bosch has increased to five points.

Telstar setup: Koeman Jr; Fernandes (Kruiver/62), Miller, Aktas, Bensabouh, Wolters; Overtoom (Akoy/86), Van Doorm (Blackson/80), Kökcu (Giovanni/62); Plet, Dijkstra (Van Velzen/62)
