In Brussels, protesters against coronavirus restrictions smashed the office of the European External Action Service, informs Belgian news agency Het Laatste Nieuws.
The demonstrators started throwing bottles and firecrackers into the building. The police use water cannons and tear gas, the special forces are trying to surround and push the protesters further from the center of the so-called European Quarter.
50,000 people take part in the protest, the agency notes, citing police data.
