Years ago I had singing lessons. On the front door of my singing teacher’s house was the sign “singing teacher”.
In the same door was a letterbox. My singing teacher told me that she hated it when the mailbox was left open after the mail was dropped.
That is why she had a sign with ‘keep the lid closed’ placed under the sign ‘singing teacher’.
