Cycling on a tarmac cycle path through the dunes, I see three women approaching on my bicycle. I’ll call to be sure. The front two go to the right in time. I can choose from a head-on collision with the third or off track. I come into the loose sand and make a slide on my head and shoulder. The oncoming traffic avoided a layer of sand on their half. I get up (luckily no physical damage) and hear the women shout in unison: “You are driving way too fast.”
