Opinion | Proposal round – NRC

On an afternoon organized by a prominent consultancy firm, the participants are invited to participate in an assignment. The kick-off is the well-known proposal round. I look around the room and wonder who the other participants are. The first speaker immediately sets the tone: “I am CEO of…” He is followed by CFOs and COOs. And then it’s my turn. “I am ELS from …” No one asks what that abbreviation stands for.
