I go to the polling station with my three-year-old son. The lady who gives me the ballot says that my son can go into the voting booth. “He is too small to influence you anyway.” Thinking about an uncertain future due to climate change, polarization and increasing inequality, I look at my son. I don’t think anyone has more influence on my voice than he does.
