Slowly we sail out of the Oranjesluizen in the direction of the IJsselmeer. About fifty meters in front of us, the loaded ship that we were just lying next to is sailing in the lock. Amused, I watch the dog on the ship merrily frolic across the aft deck and jump up against the galley window. “Those people have a dog just like us,” I tell my wife. But my wife already has the viewer in front of her eyes and screams in horror: “That’s our dog!”
