This morning, together with the regular group with whom I always read the newspapers, we discussed the aftermath of the election results. A bit depressed. To come up with another text I say: “I am going to buy a large special LED candle this afternoon.” Bas immediately responds: “Oh, I bought one last week, fantastic thing!”
“Does yours also have a blow-out function?” I ask. Bas looks at me in surprise and says: “No, I’ll just grab the remote control.”
