The theme of Heritage Day 2023
‘Living Heritage’ is the theme of this year’s Open Heritage Days. The organization describes ‘Living Heritage’ as the cultural customs, traditions and craft skills that people have inherited from home.’ Think of local festivities such as carnival or lazy, but also preparing local dishes or traditions such as blowing midwinter horn. You will see these kinds of local traditions again this year during the Open Heritage Days 2023.
