Open day for future teachers of ‘ T Saam in Diksmuide

The management of the secondary school ‘T Saam in Diksmuide is already putting together the puzzle for September. Together with experienced teachers, they gave the necessary text and explanation about the educational vision of the school on Saturday during the open day. About thirty people showed up.

Double purpose

This open day for future staff has a dual purpose: “We hope to be able to recruit new teachers. This may be people from other schools, but recently graduated teachers are also welcome. We also look at people who now work in the business world and who are interested in a job in education. Their experience is more than welcome”, says Bart Laleman.

“During our job and information fair, we provide a tour of the school, we show our modern equipment, but we also provide information about working, diploma and salary conditions. Three teachers are present and talk about their experiences after their career switch”, he adds.
